8/11/2010 - Redmond Rock samples intrigue BETA visitors at Gatcombe
Visitors to the BETA stand at Gatcombe who completed a questionnaire received a goody bag which included samples of Redmond Rock, the new mineral lick that horses and ponies really enjoy.
In each of the goody bags handed out by BETA to stand visitors, and to every Pony Club member competing in the showjumping, there was a sample of Redmond Rock. For many, this was their first chance to see this new product, which really does look like a rock - but has a sweet salt taste. The samples were mostly about 300g - 400g (instead of the full size pieces weighing over 3kg), big enough to allow a horse to have a proper taste of the product.

7/26/2010 - Congratulations to Area 12 tetrathletes
We were delighted to be at the culmination of the Area 12 Tetrathlon competition on Sunday 25th July 2010, at Great Westwood Park, Herts. Nearly 100 Pony Club members contested nine sections, swimming and shooting on Saturday, then running and riding on Sunday.
Redmond Rock offered free samples to the competitors at Great Westwood. The sultry weather made it just the sort of day when ponies and horses lose significant amounts of electrolytes in sweat. A number of competitors took advantage of the free product sample, and found that their ponies readily took to the product. Being so hard, the ponies were unable to crunch it up, but enjoyed a steady intake of salt by licking the small lumps. Many riders came back to purchase the full size product (over 3kg in weight) so their ponies could have a source of minerals continually available over the next few months.
